There is a new way to make your iPhone ***SIM lock free. The great thing is that you can use an iPhone anywhere in the world. The method is published by Sassha on hackint0sh.org
***Please be careful, it’s your own risk to do the hack.
This is what you need to accomplish this:
- iPhone
- AT&T SIM card included with you purchase.
- SIM card reader and writer
- new SilverCard (SuperSim), which will be used after the hack.
- old SIM card, must be an “V1Comp-SIMcard”

This is what you get after this hack:
- make phone calls
- receive phone calls
- send SMS messages
- use Edge network
There are several reports states that not everything works, like Youtube. But at least you can use the iPhone as a Phone!
Basically you retrieve specific data from both the AT&T card and the old card, and then write the combined data to the SilverCard.
