A: Since today there is a Windows version to do the Jailbreak on your iPhone with firmware 2.0 called WinPwn. Q: What are the features of WinPwn tool? A: Features of WinPwn are Support for both 1.1.4 and 2.0, Custom Image Support, Custom Payload Support, iPhone 3G support Q: How does it work? A: Easy, just folow the steps in chronological order:
Step 1: First create a custom IPSW using the IPSW Builder.
Step 2: Click “Ipwner” and browse for the custom IPSW that you just created. This will pwn itunes and allow you to flash Custom IPSW files via DFU mode (hold the power and home button for seven seconds; when the screen turnwait a couple seconds, then let go of the power button but keep holding down home–10 seconds later iTunes should recognize your iPhone. Just let go of home after that.)
Step 3: Once you have pwned Itunes, put your phone into DFU mode.
Step 4: Once you are in DFU mode Itunes will popup and then you can hold shift and click restore and browse to your custom IPSW file. Then you’re done ! And you’ve got Cydia with the 2.0 firmware !!! Pleas tap HERE for a YouTube stream.
