iPhone TIPS: How To Do Word Search in Safari (iOS 4.2)

Q: I like to search for words and phrases on a website with Safari. How can I do that? A: The word search option is hidden in iOS 4.2 in the "regular" Search box in the right-upper corner of Safari. Just do the following to search for in-site words.

Open the desired website in Safari

Tap the regular Search box right-upper corner

Type the word(s) you are looking for. Notice the "On This Page (x match)"just above your keyboard.

Now the trick: Tap-And-Hold your finger in the search results, the slide the search results up (or down) a bit. The keyboard will disappear.

Okay, at the bottom of the result tap on - Find "your search keyword(s)"-

This will lead you to the website with the found keywords highlighted in yellow.

The "Next" button will bring you to the next spot where the keyword appears.
