Apple's new tablet is called "iPad 2" and CEO Steve Jobs himself has unveiled this new device on stage an hour ago. He is calling it "a completely new design". Most important thing we want to know is: What is new and what is improved? Here is a list of the new features and improvements in iPad 2 compared with the original iPad.

1. iPad 2 has a new A5 CPU. It runs twice as fast than the original iPad
2. Graphics runs 9x as fast
3. iPad 2 is 33% thinner, 8.8 mm vs 13.4 mm. That is thinner than the iPhone 4 !
4. iPad 2 is lighter, 1.3lb vs 1.5 lb
5. iPad 2 has both front and rear facing camera's. the rear camera shoots 720P HD and the front VGA quality for videoconferencing
6. 30 pin doc connector to HDMI cable ($39) allows you to mirror the iPad 2 screen content on TV
7. iPad 2 is available in a Black and in a White version
