iPhone TIPS: Bottom Line Reason To Buy iPhone 4S

Many iPhone 4 owners are asking me why they should go for the iPhone 4S. I can tell them a long story about faster CPU and dual cores and better graphics. However, the bottom line is that they want Siri. The business case is as usual: "I give my iPhone 4 (or 3GS) to my partner, he / she needs iOS 5 to....bla bla bla (yeah right ! ) So, I can buy the newest iPhone 4S because I just gave my iPhone 4 (or 3GS) away."
But hey, read my lips: Siri is the real reason. Convince yourself (again) with the original Apple Siri video below and be honest to yourself and say to yourself  "I want Siri." Thank you.

iPhone TIPS: Why Split Keyboard for iPad in IOS 5 is Fast

- by iPhone-tips-tricks.com - Q: In iOS 5 you can split your iPad keyboard in two parts. Why should you use a split keyboard ? A: If you are in a standing position, you can either hold the iPad in one hand and type with the other. But in split keyboard mode you can type with both your thumbs while hold the iPad with the other eight fingers. For many of us, typing with two thumbs concurrently is faster than single handed. Q: I want the split keyboard. How can I enable it? A: First check if it is enabled in Settings>General>Keyboard>Split Keyboard> flop switch to 'ON' (default). Then open the Notes app, tap one to activate the keyboard. Then press-hold the letter A with your left-thumb and press-hold letter L with your right-thumb. Then slide both thumbs to the edge of the the iPad as if your are tearing the keyboard in two pieces. That is exactly what will happen. You can adjust the position of the keyboard by sliding most right-bottom key up or down. Now you can type with your both thumbs while standing. - by iPhone-tips-tricks.com -

iPhone TIPS: Amazing Song Dedicated To Steve Jobs [video] [Must watch]

Our fellow bloggers from Mashable reports a very great song made from Mac Only sounds. The song is dedicated to Steve Jobs. It is created very good with famous phrases included from Steve's 2005 Stanford commencement speech like "Don't saddle" and "stay hungry stay foolish". See the famous post HERE. I also censed some inspirations from Owl City. And the great feature are the many many Mac and iOS sounds which make any Apple fan and Wall-E happy. I like it and I think you may like it too just listen and watch the video below.
From the creator AzRmusic their quotes needs to be mentioned here:
"I made this song using only sounds from Apple products and Steve's 2005 Stanford commencement speech. Every instrument, including drums, has been sampled from a Mac product, tuned by ear, and replayed in the context of the song.
I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoyed making it.
RIP Steve. We'll miss you."

thanks goes to AzRMusic the creator of the song and video.

iPhone TIPS: iPhone 4S vs iPhone 4 - Speed Test [video]

The A5 chip is promised to be much faster. But is it really snappier with iOS .
The new iPhone 4S is released and comes with a faster processor, improved camera and new voice technology called Siri. The question is, is the speed really improved? A new owner of the iPhone 4S has posted this side by side video. A excellent way to compare the speed between the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4. Is the iPhone 4S snappier, quicker, performing better. No better way than invest 2 minutes on this video before you swap your iPhone 4 into the 4S.

iPhone TIPS: Compare iPhone 4S Camera vs iPhone 4 Camera [video]

The 8MP camera in the iPhone 4S should provide better pictures.
The new iPhone 4S is released and comes with a faster processor, improved camera and new voice technology called Siri. The question is, is the camera really improved? A new owner of the iPhone 4S has posted this side by side video. An excellent way to compare those two cameras. My personal opinion judging based on these video shots is that the iPhone 4S is much less shaky. Possibly achieved by anti-shake technology made possible by the faster processor. Also the light comes better: It looks like they added sort of HDR technology in videocamera making the dark parts of a shot brighter and the too-bright parts dimmed. The whole creates a more balanced videos. However, I am not a video-junk so, please judge for your self.

iPhone TIPS: Does Siri on iPhone 4S Really Works Well? [Video]

Q: What is the difference between Siri and Voice dial? A: Well you can ask questions to Siri as if it is a human. The blowing-me-away part is that Siri gives you just 1 single answer, which is the correct answer too! How cool is that? You can best compare it using Google. You type a pretty complex question in Google and It returns just 1 single hit, not 1000 just 1 hit. And that hit contains the correct answer you was looking for! Q: Can we see a demo? A Yes, watch the video review below.

iPhone TIPS: How To Use Photo Stream in iOS 5

- by iPhone-tips-tricks.com -

What is Photo Stream?

Photo Stream is the iCloud service that uploads and stores the last 30 days of your photos and automatically pushes them to your iOS devices and computers. Photo Stream lets you view all your recent photos on your devices without having to sync—all you have to do is turn it on.

How Photo Stream works

First, set up Photo Stream on any device that you want to be part of your Photo Stream.
Then, take a photo with your iOS device, or import photos from your digital camera to your Mac, iPad, or Windows computer.
Photo Stream automatically uploads the photos to iCloud, and then downloads them to your other devices (via Wi-Fi or Ethernet).
The photos appear in your Photo Stream on each device: in the Photos app on your iOS devices; in iPhoto or Aperture on a Mac; or in the Pictures folder on a Windows computer.

iCloud stores your new photos for 30 days so your devices have plenty of time to connect and download the photos. Your iOS devices keep a rolling collection of your last 1000 photos. You can save your favorite shots to your Camera Roll or any other album to keep them on your device permanently. Because your computers have more storage, they can keep all your Photo Stream photos.

Set up Photo Stream

You need to set up Photo Stream on each iOS device and computer that you want to be part of your Photo Stream.

On a Mac, you can also choose where you want your Photo Stream to appear (in either iPhoto v9.2 or Aperture v3.2), and your upload and import preferences.

Note: If you already set up iCloud on your devices, Photo Stream may already be turned on. To make sure everything is set up correctly, or to set up Photo Stream on another device, follow the steps below.

Set up Photo Stream on an iOS device

On your device’s Home screen, tap Settings, and then tap iCloud.
If you're asked to sign in with your Apple ID, then you haven’t set up iCloud on this iOS device. Sign in with your Apple ID to set up your iCloud account.
Tap to turn on Photo Stream.

Any new photos you take with your iOS device are uploaded to iCloud and added to your Photo Stream.
If you also set up a Mac to work with Photo Stream, by default any photos you take with your iOS device are also imported into your iPhoto or Aperture library. You can change this default setting when you set up iPhoto or Aperture (see below).

Set up Photo Stream on a Mac to work with iPhoto

Open iPhoto and select Photo Stream in the Source list (on the left).

Click Turn On Photo Stream (on the right).

By default, iPhoto automatically imports all Photo Stream photos into your library so you can keep them permanently, and automatically uploads every photo you import to your Photo Stream.
To change when photos are uploaded to iCloud or imported into your iPhoto library, choose iPhoto > Preferences, click Photo Stream, and do any of the following:
If you don’t want photos you take with your iOS device automatically imported into your iPhoto library, deselect the Automatic Import checkbox.

You may want to do this if you’d rather choose which Photo Stream photos are imported into your library. If automatic import is off, your iPhoto Photo Stream displays the last 1,000 photos added to your Photo Stream. You can also drag photos from your Photo Stream to your library to keep them permanently.
If you don’t want all the photos you import into your iPhoto library automatically uploaded to your Photo Stream, deselect the Automatic Upload checkbox.

You can always drag photos from your library to your Photo Stream to add photos manually.
For more information about your Photo Stream settings, choose Help > iPhoto Help.

Set up Photo Stream on a Mac to work with Aperture

Open Aperture.
Choose Aperture > Preferences, and then click Photo Stream.

Select the Enable Photo Stream checkbox.
By default, Aperture automatically imports all Photo Stream photos into your library so you can keep them permanently, and automatically uploads every photo you import to your Photo Stream.
If you don’t want photos taken with your iOS device automatically imported into your Aperture library, deselect the Automatic Import checkbox.
You may want to do this if you’d rather choose which Photo Stream photos are imported into your library. If automatic import is off, your Aperture Photo Stream displays the last 1,000 photos added to your Photo Stream. You can also drag photos from your Photo Stream to your library to keep them permanently.
If you don’t want photos you import into your Aperture library automatically added to your Photo Stream, deselect the Automatic Upload checkbox.
You can always drag photos from your library to your Photo Stream to add photos manually.
For more information about your Photo Stream settings, choose Help > Aperture Help.

Set up Photo Stream on a Windows computer

Choose Start menu > Control Panel > “Network and Internet.”
Click iCloud.

Select the Photo Stream checkbox.

To change the default Photo Stream upload and download folders, click Options. Click Change to choose a folder, and then click OK.
By default, photos are automatically downloaded to the My Photo Stream folder inside the Photo Stream album in your Pictures library, and uploaded from the Uploads folder inside the Photo Stream album in your Pictures library.
Click Apply.
Any new photos you import from a digital camera to the upload folder you chose in the iCloud Control Panel on your computer are uploaded and added automatically to your Photo Stream.
You can also add photos manually to your Photo Stream.

NOTE: follow this LINK to remove your Photo Stream photos from iCloud.
